Inspired by the night sky, "Southern Sky" resembles a swirling Milky Way, with a deep blue background punctuated by white halos.
Our skilled enamelers immerse each piece in two distinct glazes to achieve this unique and varied effect.
The base glaze is red, which magically changes to a deep blue after firing; the top glaze is one of our standard white glazes.
During the firing process, the two glazes interact to create a beautiful deep blue base glaze with white halos.
